to many Filipino moving to one place to another, there looking for a better opportunity. they work hard in Philippines and they feel that they are not paid well. after a year of working they try to look for a better opportunity outside the country. They want a higher salary for a better tomorrow.
Most of my friends are working outside the country. I am curios that time. I have computer cafe and its earning but not enough that why i decided to go with the flow. I work in corporate world and gained experience to have an edge on application. after almost 2 years working. i tried to apply to other country.
after 3 months i have a ticket going to saudi arabia in riyadh. I so happy that time because its may first time to go out in my country. June 22, 2010 the day of my flight. we went to airport with my brother and im so excited that day. my flight is 7 pm but about 2 pm im in the airport wait the agent and the other technical. 6:45 pm the airport annouce that we are now boarding and I said to may self "this is it" and its my first to take a big plane so happy and excited see what is inside.
at the plane, while walking in and looking for my seat number. I talked to flight attendant about my seat number and she showed me. i go to the area seat their with my co technical. i am looking around, check some magazine and some safety notes.
while on the flight, they serve as food drink. i watch movie play music while in the flight. after long hours we arrive at saudi aiport about 3am saudi time zone.
at the airport, i said to my self. wow! a new place. what is saudi? i laugh in my mind. and slowly walking out the plane. I talk to the old timer people who work before. and ask some guide and tips. and they go.
after passing the checking of the bags, passport and other things, we wait outside for an hour. after waiting i talk to my co-tech guy and we look for money changer, we change our money to riyals and buy and sim of mobily. we called the boss and he said. look for a taxi driver i will talked to him and we walk and find a taxi driver. the problem they dont speak english fluently and its hard to communicate. i called my boss and give the phone to the driver and give some instruction. we go to his cab and drives to our home.
